The Trailer For The Vampire Diaries Spinoff ‘Legacies’ Is Finally Here!

I was devastated when The Vampire Diaries ended. 

Then, when its spinoff The Originals continued, my heart was revived again. 

Now that The Originals is finally coming to an end, I’m lucky I’m going to have another spinoff to latch on to, otherwise I fear I’d be in a curled up ball all week. 

The spinoff is called Legacies, and follows Hope Mikaelson (the daughter of Hayley Marshall-Kenner and Klaus Mikaelson) on her supernatural adventures as a student at the Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted. 

The first trailer gives us a brief look back at the history of it’s predecessors, before letting us in on the new world ahead. 

As the trailer plays, Hope shares some insight into the series, musing, "This is a story of magic, of secrets and betrayals, first loves and first heartbreaks. It’s a story of friendship and family, of battling our own demons so we can face the monsters around us. This is a story, our story, of trying to be normal in a world that is anything but. The only question is, will we be its heroes or its villains?”

We cannot wait for this to hit our TV screens!
