The Time Maz Got Evacuated Out Of Mexico

Hit NSW Breakfast host Maz Compton has had quite an eventful life, but no story more eventful than the time she had to be evacuated out of Mexico.

Back in 2005 the now Hit NSW breakfast host was working for MTV and was on assignment overseas, as she explained.

“I used to get sent on assignments overseas, so I was the red carpet reporter for MTV Australia” Maz said “One of the assignments I got sent on at the end of 2005 was called Maz’s Mexican vacation”.

All was well until the day of the MTV Latin Music Awards when a category 5 hurricane was bearing down.
