It might surprise you to find that there are lots (and we means lots) of Guinness World Record titles when it comes to everyone’s favourite man in red, Santa Claus.

Whether it’s the Largest Santa Surfing Lesson (320 in Sydney), the Longest Wish List to Santa (121,138 wishes created by Macy’s, NYC) or the Largest Gathering of Santas (18,112 in Kerela), one thing is for sure: we love smashing records in honour of the man who’ll be sliding down our chimneys (or knocking on our back doors) in a matter of days.

This Saturday, it’s time to set another. And it’ll be happening right here on the Gold Coast.

NightQuarter are attempting to host the Largest Gathering of Santas in the World Doing the Floss Dance in One Place!

So grab your Santa suits, stand in front of your mirrors and watch your tummy shake like a bowl full of jelly as you practice your finest floss.

Then, on the night, come out and be a part of history!

Additionally, a Santa Crawl will be taking place throughout the NightQuarter markets as you wander between stalls and eat, drink and be merry with your fellow St Nicks. What an adventure!

Finally, in what promises to essentially be a festive, real-life version of Where’s Wally?, we have it on good authority that, somewhere in the crowd, the real Santa Claus will also be making an appearance for the girls and boys. (And, hell, us too!)

Don’t miss out on what will ho-ho-hopefully be a momentous, record-breaking night right here on the sunny Gold Coast! Bring your family, bring your friends and let’s celebrate the most wonderful time of the year by all getting merry together!

The Santa Crawl is taking place at NightQuarter on Saturday 22nd December. Doors open at 4pm. Entry is $3 and can be purchased from the gate on the night. Kids 12 and under are free. For more information visit the NightQuarter website here  or follow the Facebook event page here.
