If you are looking for the ultimate experience in Sydney, this is it because it literally won’t be happening again until 2021.

This week, on Wednesday the 17th of July, Sydney is due to hold the last lunar eclipse of the year. The best part? You won’t have to wake up too early to catch the event either.

So, if you’re feeling particularly romantic or just want to see the last partial eclipse for 2019, set your clocks for 6 am and catch the eclipse in its prime at 6:55 am.

According to timeanddate.com, "The true maximum point of this eclipse cannot be seen in the City of Sydney because the Moon is below the horizon at that time. Moon close to the horizon, recommend going to a high point."

What a perfect mid-week treat!
