The team at hit107 have been lucky enough to get out and about at this year's Fringe which finishes up this weekend.

If you're looking to check out a show before the event wraps up.. take a look at our recommendations below!

Gospo Collective's Jackson vs Jackson
Gluttony

"These singers are so bloody talented - how they sing and dance their way through this energetic show is truly inspiring. The music is chosen perfectly and the arrangements very impressive. The involvement of kids and a community backing choir is a true testament to the group's inclusivity."

Amity Dry
The Garden of Unearthly Delights

"Raw and vulnerable. That's how Amity comes across in her story of divorce and hitting the dating scene again after so many years. While there was one funny song about the star getting on Tinder for the first time, most were power ballads she'd composed herself pushing the message of empowering women. One or more light-hearted tunes would've provided a release that left the audience feeling less sad."

Another Night at the Musicals
The Box - The Garden of Unearthly Delights

"This comedy/cabaret is hilarious! Both Le Gateau Chocolat and Jonny Woo are brilliant singers and they get the crowd up for a party as they sing show tunes from your favourite musicals".

Circus Abyssinia: Ethiopian Dreams
The Peacock, Gluttony

"Gosh these performers are talented! You'll be looking up in amazement as they take on eye-opening stunts".

Nath Valvo – I’m Happy For You
Le Cascadeur, The Garden of Unearthly Delights

"Nath is laugh-out-laugh funny and a total natural on stage! We literally had tears in our eyes for most of the show. Relatable and sassy, we already can’t wait to see Nath again!"

Finale
The Peacock, Gluttony

"Finale incorporates music, dance and circus on a stage that is constantly changing. This show is wicked fun. The opening of the show is filled with surprises and sets up the next hour perfectly! This is a great one to see with the kids!"

Circus Oz – Neon
Corona Theatre, The Garden of Unearthly Delights

"This show is totally tubular! A Circus Oz 80s extravaganza, Neon is outrageously funny. We had the pleasure to see them on their sold out Friday night show last week. We were blown away with their talent. The ensemble don’t take themselves too seriously and pull out these incredible circus tricks that make your heart stop. They played all our favourite 80s hits and we can’t thank them enough. It was like totally AH-MAZING!!!!"

Children Are Stinky
The Garden of Unearthly Delights

"Not sure if it was my 2yo daughter's nappy, or the performers… but this show smelt like a big fat farty bum-bum!!! If you haven’t laughed with the kids in a while, this will be a beautiful moment to reconnect over a colourful and clever show in the Garden. Is it just a lot of fart gags? Yep. Does the crowd love it? Absolutely! Acrobatics, 90s Music, audience participation and really, the whole show stinks! You’ll be stinking up a storm for about 50mins which is an impossible time for most kids to keep still, turns out being stinky has the kids captivated! Take the kids, And GO!"

Splash Test Dummies
The Garden of Unearthly Delights

"A funny one for the whole family. The three performers use water, bubbles, swimming caps, flippers and shadow puppets among other props to get plenty of laughs from the audience. And there's enough in it for the adults to chuckle their way through the show too!"

Séance – The Garden of Unearthly Delights

"You walk into an unassuming shipping container, lined with old-school theatre seats, headphones and a long, skinny table. The lights above you flicker until you are immersed in complete darkness and Séance begins. For 15 minutes, you are immersed in a chilling 3D listening experience using binaural technology. Your imagination will play a key character in this experience, with everyone walking out finding different elements of Séance more engaging than others. If you are looking for something a little bit quirky and spinetingling, this is for you. The mystery about Séance is what makes it so exciting… so you will just have to find out the rest yourself."

We'd love for you to share your best Fringe recommendation in the Facebook comments!
