WA woke up to the best news overnight. Missing girl Cleo Smith has been found and rescued by police, alive and well.

This morning, Pete, Matt and Kymba spoke with Deputy Commissioner Col Blanch on the momentous breakthrough for WA Police.

"It's extraordinary. Not just for our team, not just for the taskforce that investigated the disappearance of Cleo,

"The entire community of Western Australia, we have joined as a big team to come out and solve this."

"Last last night things lined up. As soon as we thought we had something that fit the profile we went into the house, and there Cleo was,

"Officers picked her up and said 'what's your name', and her little voice said 'my name is Cleo', and there wasn't a dry eye in the house."
