The First Look At 2019’s ‘Little Women’ Movie With Emma Watson!

Next year will see the release of the latest adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s classic ‘Little Women’.

The new movie will feature an all-star cast including Meryl Streep, Emma Watson, Saoirse Ronan, Laura Dern and Timothée Chalame - so basically, a dream cast!

Now, we’ve been given our very first look with the film’s official Instagram account and Emma Watson both sharing this behind the scenes snap of the cast with director Greta Gerwig:

Gerwig is responsible for writing and directing Oscar-nominated film Lady Bird, so will be reuniting with Saoirse Ronan for this one.

Little Women has been adapted to the screen many times in the past with two silence films in1917 and 1918, then again in 1933, 1949, 1978 and finally with Winona Ryder, Kirsten Dunst and Christian Bale in 1994.
