Two teenagers who stole a car, fronted court today after police tracked the duo from Ipswich to Toowoomba.

An Audi sedan reportedly stolen from New South Wales was sighted in Ipswich Saturday night, leading police to follow the vehicle as it made its way to Toowoomba - both Ipswich Police and Polair tracked the car.

Around 1am police deployed a tyre deflation device on Murphy’s Creek Road, police eventually locating the vehicle in North Toowoomba yesterday morning where they arrested two 17-year-old boys.

The duo were charged with several offences including the unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

They appeared before the Toowoomba Children's Court today.
