Tamagotchi’s were one of those fads we all became obsessed with and proved we were really not capable of looking after a virtual being, let alone living being…
Now, the classic Tamagotchi is making a major comeback, with Bandai relaunching the classic designs this year to introduce the game to a whole new generation (and for us to reminisce on the good old days).
The company won’t be messing with any new designs, re-releasing the OG model for us all to enjoy, complete with the same programming and packaging at the 1997 original!
These bad boys first came on to the scene in 1996, in Japan, and have become a nostalgic treasure for many around the world.
The re-release Tamagotchi is going to retail at $19.99 and will be available to pre-order from September 30.
