There’s no doubt about it – this summer will be a HOT one. There’s no better place to spend a warm day than the beach!

We’re pretty lucky in Sydney to be able to unwind, laze around and explore the water’s edge. We’ve got soft sand and clear water – Sydney’s famous for it!

Sometimes, beaches like Bondi and Manly can be way too crowded but luckily there are quite a few secluded beaches around. They can be hard to find sometimes, but we’ve collated the top 10 for you to visit this summer!

Sirius Cove

Sirius Cove is located in Mosman, and is a popular dog-walking spot! The water conditions are very safe, with low waves.

Chinamans Beach

Also located in Mosman, Chinamans Beach is SUPER secluded and perfect for a picnic and a swim. Balmoral Beach is just a short walk away if you're keen for a surf.

Collins Flat Beach

Collins Flat Beach has some amazing harbour views with calm waters and located between North Head and Little Manly Cove.

Shelly Beach

This beauty has been ranked as the best beach in NSW, even coming in at the top 10 for the whole country!

Gordon’s Bay

Gordon's Bay is a lovely walk north from Coogee, and is a popular spot for dogs! People prefer to sun bake on the rocks along the side - perfect for a picnic.

Reef Beach

Reef Beach has some lovely views of Sydney's North Harbour through to Manly, which is a short walk away.

Murray Rose Pool

Head over to Double Bay to check out Murray Rose Pool! This is another super safe secluded beach for swimmers.

Milk Beach

Milk Beach is right below heritage listed Strickland House, and can be a bit hard to find as one of Sydney's best secluded beaches.

Lady Martins Beach

Access to Lady Martins Beach is a bit tricky, but definitely worth it. You've got to follow a narrow path from Wolseley Avenue.

Shark Beach

Despite the fact that it's called Shark Beach, there's nothing to worry about here.
