Sydney Is Getting An Italian Festival

We are all suckers for any Italian food… so you may want to clear your diaries because this is one festival you do not want to miss.

Sydney's most loved Italian street festival, Ferragosto will celebrate 21 years in 2018 and it will be better than ever!

Ferragosto is City of Canada Bay's largest annual event, last year attracting a bumper crowd of close to 110,000 visitors to Five Dock - a suburb with strong Italian links.

This year, Ferragosto will be held on Sunday, 19 August on Great North Road, Five Dock from 10am to 4pm.

You can expect all the best of Italian culture, including entertainment and cooking with more than 300 retailers and food and merchandise stalls offering delicious street eats and handcrafted goods.

There will be spectacular dance and music performances across five stages!

And don’t stress, it caters for all ages, there will be children's rides and activities, fun competitions, dazzling displays of Italian vehicles – including Mini Fiats, Ducati Bikes and Alfa Romeos!
