Pressure is mounting to support Coasties left unable to work thanks to the extended lockdown next week. 

The state's support packages for businesses is set to expand to businesses and sole traders with an annual salary under 75k but we're not sure what that looks like yet. 

The Member for Terrigal Adam Crouch is calling on State Treasurer Dominic Perrottet to lobby Federal Treasurer Josh Frydenberg for additional payments like the ones Victorians received when Canberra extended JobKeeper through their lockdown. 

“The current one-off payment of either $325 dollars or $500 dollars for Central Coast workers who are now in extended lockdown unfortunately just doesn’t cut it.”

The Federal Treasurer squashed hopes for more financial relief Wednesday afternoon announcing there will be no JobKeeper payments for NSW.

Predictions are next weeks extended lockdown will cost the state’s economy a further $1 billion.
