Valentine's Day is approaching and lots of single girls around the world are starting to ask that familiar question: Why am I single? Why does no one want to be with me? WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME?
But the truth is, your single years are some of the best years of your life; they're not to be wasted away!!

- You get to do you!You are your number one priority and you don't have to share your time with a partner. What does this mean? MORE TIME: to discover who you are, to chase your dream, to get that Kayla Itsines body you've been dreaming of for so long!
- FREEDOM!!Isn't it annoying when you really want to go out with the girls on a Saturday night, but you had a work thing on Friday and you know you need to appease boyfy by having some couples time? Being single means no rules, no one you have to see a certain number of times a week, and freedom to rock home as late as you want. I'm looking at you 5am getting kicked out of Mooseheads girls ;)
- The OPPORTUNITIESare endless!! Your future is not set! Yes, you can have dreams regardless , but when you're single, you can go anywhere, do anything, and not be bound down. Admittedly, I have been scared of getting into a relationship because of this, but moving state three times in three years is the best thing I've ever done! I love that no matter what amazing job that could come up tomorrow, I could take it in a heartbeat and not have to think twice about it. Always wanted to do an intern in London? New York? Now's your chance girl! Go get it!
- LESS HIGHLY STRUNG.I don't know about you, but when I'm with someone I think about them so much and they affect me so deeply. Back when I had my last boyfriend (years ago) a tiny fight or slightly off text message could affect my entire day at work! You get the highs with this, but when you are so emotionally invested in someone, you also get the lows.
- The BED.Sleep and bed are everything, so when someone messes with a routine you've had your entire life, REOWW someone's gonna get feisty! I'm talking: wanting to watch different TV shows, going to sleep at different times and one of you keeping the light on, waking them up when you go for your early morning jog, and the worst one of all... B**CH GIVE ME MY DOONA BACK!! Not to mention the cuddles on hot nights when you really wanna be left alone and boyfy just keeps on trying to be cute and affectionate. Cute babes, but there's a bloody heatwave happening, so not right now!
- HOT BOYS HELLO.I'm not one for sleeping around but I do love the excitement of meeting a hottie at a bar, seeing the new guy at the gym, or flirting with that cute new employee and knowing anything could happen! Maybe they feel it maybe they don't, but you’re allowed to ask for their number, you’re single and unbound.
Don't get me wrong… love, relationships, men, they're all beautiful! But there are SO MANY ADVANTAGES to being single! Travel the world, connect with your inner-self, and use this time to become the VERY best person you can be! Don't be sad sitting at home.
As a single girl, don't get me wrong, it would be nice to have someone one day, but the last four years have been the best of my life and I wouldn't take them back for anything.
