Man accused of torturing housemate
A Southport man is due in court this morning, accused of assaulting and torturing his housemate over a 10-month period.
The 25-year-old has been charged with four counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, five counts of common assault, two counts of extortion and one count of torture.
The alleged assaults took place between Decemeber 2015 and September last year.
