Tragedy has struck in WA’s South West with two people found dead at a home in Capel.
The grim discovery was made when a police officer was called to the Birkshire Street home Friday morning.
Homicide Squad Detectives are on their way to the crime scene which is about 196km south of Perth, where it’s expected they will remain for several days.
A 47-year-old man is in custody and is assisting the police with their investigation.
Just weeks ago, Pemberton, also in the state's southwest, was rocked by the murder of Handyman and father-of-three, Tony Ditri. He vanished after making a rubbish run to a tip on August 27. A local farmer, John Della Franca has since been charged with his murder.
