Every day we're faced with unbelievable and sometimes horrifying news stories, such as the recent Christchurch terrorist attack, and whether we like it or not, these stories are just as accessible by children and young people. 

But according to psychologist Dr Marny Lishman, being exposed to these images and conversations isn't actually healthy for kids.

"We can't solve the world's problems if we're all filled with worry and hate and fear."
