Seven people have been arrested after $6million worth of marijuana were seized at a property in the “Leyburn-Tailgai area.

2500 plants were found in a massive take down of a sophisticated drug ring operating in the region along with 140 kilos of packaged cannabis buds.

Six people remain behind bars while another has been granted bail in the bust that was conducted on Tuesday involving Warwick detectives, the State Drug Squad and the Australian Border Force.

Among them, three Vietnamese nationals have allegedly overstayed their visas.

The following day, police arrested a further four people, who attempted to visit the Old Talgai farm while police were conducting on-site investigations

Detectives say that the haul, including the crops and the dried packaged products has an estimated value in excess of $6 million.

The group will front Warwick Court on the 31st of May.
