Adelaide born celebrity bodyguard, Wayne Mattei has gone from security to the stars to a star in his own right after scoring the role of Sergeant Slaughter on The Rock's new comedy series 'Young Rock'.
Bec, Cosi & Lehmo invited the big man himself on the show to chat about his origin story and how he wound up working alongside The Rock.
Having worked as a body guard for likes of David Beckham, John Travolta and Russel Crow, Wayne explains exactly how career as security to the stars began, why on earth people as tough as Steven Seagal required a body guard in the first place and who his first ever celebrity job was.
