Search For Missing Lake Macquarie Girl Ramps Up

Police are still on the hunt for a young girl reported missing in Lake Macquarie and they're now calling on the public to help track her down.

Carly Gibson was last seen at her Gradwells road home at Dora Creek around 6:30pm on Monday evening.

The 11 year old is described as Caucasian, about 150 centimetres tall, of medium build with blonde hair and blue-grey eyes.

She was last seen wearing a yellow midriff top, grey cardigan, denim skirt, black hat, blue and pink tie-dye socks and black boots.

Authorities believe she may be in the Lake Macquarie, Newcastle or Edgeworth areas.
