SA Temps Set To Soar To Our Warmest August Day In Nine Years

Spring is most certainly around the corner.

The mercury's tipped to reach a warm 26 in the City today and up to 31 degrees further out.

That'll make it our warmest day since May 2 and our warmest August day in nine years.

The prediction's also well above Adelaide’s 16.7 degree average max for the month.

In early May temps reached 26.8 just above today's predicted top.

But make the most of it while it lasts.. showers are predicted for this evening and into tomorrow when possible thunderstorms could hit.

We can expect a low of 15 tonight before a stormy 20 tomorrow, rounding out the weekend with 16 on Friday for the start of the Royal Adelaide Show, 15 on Saturday and 14 on Sunday.
