Fires continue to rage across Mackay and The Whitsundays as a total ban has come into play. The local fire ban has been issued for the Central Highlands, Isaac, Mackay, and The Whitsundays until Midnight on the 30th. It comes as fires are currently being monitored in Mackay Harbour, Pioneer Valley, Finch Hatton and Walkerston.
