Wentworth fans are on the edge of their seats today due to rumours that the show is about to be cancelled.
The Aussie prison drama's sixth season is currently airing on Foxtel, but sources within the entertainment industry predict it could be close to the end.
However fans will have at least one more season to look forward to, with season 7 currently in production.
Sigrid Thornton appeared on Studio 10 this morning, and wasn't able to confirm or deny the reports.
At the recent Logie Awards Wentworth picked up Most Popular Drama Program, Most Outstanding Drama Series and Most Outstanding Actress for Pamela Rabe.
