Vision has been released of a man and woman wanted for questioning over an alleged petrol drive-off at Robina, which police believe is linked to an armed robbery at Currumbin Valley.

A 25-year-old man parked his car at the end of Currumbin Creek Road, Cougal Cascade, before he was approached by two men armed with a firearm and a knife at around 11.30am on October 31.

The pair threatened the man who handed over $100 cash, two mobile phones and his car keys, before they fled the scene in his blue 1999 Nissan Pulsar.

Police claim the stolen car, bearing incorrect number plates, was then used to steal petrol from a service station at Robina Town Centre Drive at around 5am on November 7, which was captured on CCTV.
