Detectives are asking for our help to identify a body, found by a garbo in a Preston wheelie bin on Saturday morning.

The worker was emptying the bin on Young and Butler Streets, when he discovered the man’s body shortly after 8am.

Officers have given a description of the man, and say he was wearing a distinctive t-shirt.

"He is perceived to be of Caucasian appearance, aged in his mid-40s, about 171cm tall with a medium build, dark hair and an unshaven face," a police statement said.

"He was wearing grey/blue Everlast tracksuits pants with two white stripes down the side, black Nike runners and a white t-shirt with a motif for Korean band Big Bang’s 2015 world tour that shows a hot rod and the five band members."
