Police Reveal The Ultimate Gender Reveal Gone Wrong

Gender reveals have become the newest tradition for expecting parents. Some people pop balloons full confetti, while others seem to think to do burnouts with coloured smoke is a better idea, which has proven to be a bad idea on so many levels.

Police have just released the footage of an illegal gender reveal go completely wrong on the Gold Coast.

The video shows the black Holden produce blue smoke and drive about 100 metres before it caught fire, with panicked onlookers running to free the driver from the flaming car.

A 29-year-old man was arrested and charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

The drama was caught on drone camera that the 29-year-old driver had allegedly put up to film the gender reveal.

The incident was in April last year but police released the video on Tuesday this week in a bid to deter others from similar actions.
