Police Are Investigating The Suspicious Death Of A Woman In Springfield Lakes

UPDATE:  Police have charged a man with murder after his partner was found dead at their Springfield Lakes home last night. 

Earlier:

Ipswich District detectives are investigating the suspicious death of a 54-year-old woman at Springfield Lakes last night. 

Police were called to a Mountain Bell Lane address shortly after 10pm where the body of a woman was located deceased.

A 59-year-old man, known to the woman, was located at the scene and is currently assisting police with their investigations.

A crime scene has been declared at the house and an Incident Centre established at the Yamanto Police Station.
