This conversation comes off the back of the mobile phone ban which comes into effect for a total of more than 40 public high schools today.

Rebecca 'Bec' Morse and Mark 'Soda' Soderstrom speak with Port Lincoln High School Principal Todd George about being the first school to trial the ban.
"It became obvious the phones were a distraction and they got in the way of learning,' he said.
All schools will have to introduce the ban by the beginning of Term 3 this year.
