Peninsula Parking Problem Attracts ACA Attention

Central Coast residents were up in arms this week over infringements they received for parking on the nature strip outside their homes. 

Even though in some spots the road is less than five metres wide they were hit with $263 fines for parking on the grass. 

Outraged at the injustice one Woy Woy local went as far as to reach out to A Current Affair for help.

She joined Gawndy & Ash this morning to explain why she went to such lengths...

UPDATE: NSW Police have agreed to withdraw the hundreds of parking fines issues in recent weeks across the Woy Woy Peninsula, Saratoga and West Gosford, admitting they weren't in the public interest.
