Pedestrian Hit By Car In Northern Gold Coast

A pedestrian has been hit by a car at Yatala on the northern end of the Gold Coast this morning.

Emergency services were called at Pearson Road around 6.25am on Tuesday with reports a man had suffered a head injury.

He was assessed on scene before being transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Meanwhile an elderly woman crashed her car into her neighbour's unit at Coombabah last night.

The 78-year-old was uninjured following the smash on Dell Street around 6.30pm when it's believed she accidentally reversed into the building.

She was assessed by paramedics but refused transport to hospital.
