This morning on the show, Bronte & Sam were joined by Wagga local, Sophie Walsh, whose parents-in-law are self-isolating with her family during COVID-19 and have created a new educational startup to assist at-home learning for regional families.

Sophie & her husband found themselves homeschooling their kids after 12 months of income from their wedding & events business was wiped out.

Sophie also happens to be the daughter-in-law of Michael Walsh, one of Australia’s leading Positive Education researchers and author of school-based program, The Learning Curve, that has been implemented in 20 countries and so has access to student wellbeing activities.

Mick and Sophie have since launched a simplified online version of the Positive Education Student Wellbeing Program for parents to guide their children through at home, The Learning Curve At Home.

Until now, Mick’s program could only be accessed through schools, but now parents across the country are able to download these important resources and implement them in their own at-home learning routines.
