Weeks after the public found out that Olivia Newton-John was once again diagnosed with cancer, the star’s daughter, Chloe Lattanzi, posted an emotional message to Instagram.

Last week, Chloe posted a photo to Instagram, however, deleted it after receiving backlash from followers commenting that she was “too skinny.”

The 31-year-old soon reposted the same photo, this time with a lengthy message revealing her past battles with anorexia and depression.

“I just got up off the floor, I’ve been sobbing for an hour, feeling the collective energy of strangers around the world weighing in on my family’s problems… OK I'm too skinny. Say what you like. I can't care anymore. I am in so much pain.

“… Since I was born, this has been my life. This life is also what I believe what made me sick. The anorexia the depression.”

She continued, touching on her mother’s cancer diagnosis and the impact it’s had on her.

“It’s so hard to explain just how profoundly painful this whole experience is for me… If only you saw me as a real person and not a few pictures on the internet.”

Now, New Idea is reporting that Olivia is extremely concerned about her daughter.

“[Olivia is] devastated that her illness has taken such a heavy toll… She's been in floods of tears and can barely believe it's happening,” claims an apparent source.

The Grease star beat breast cancer 25 years ago and remains positive that she will do it again, telling PEOPLE, “I'm totally confident that my new journey will have a positive success story to inspire others!”

We send our love to both Olivia and Chloe.
