Nothing Screams Australia Like a SNAG! 2019 "Flavour Your Way", It's Baaack!

Aussies love their sausages – we’re crazy about them! 

The humble plain beef or pork sausage is a thing of the past.  Why have plain when you can treat your taste buds to tantalizing flavour combinations. Flavour your world with creativity and come up with the ultimate snag flavour.  Lamb, lemon and thyme perhaps … the options are endless!

Western Downs Regional Council is again running the “Flavour It Your Way” competition – where residents get to create their ultimate snag flavour idea and submit it for public judging this Australia Day.

The crowd favourite sausage sizzle competition is returning to Chinchilla for the fourth time and this year will also kick off in Dalby, Miles and Tara as part of regional Australia Day celebrations.

Flavour creations are endless and as it would seem, and have no boundaries.  Check out some of the previous winners:

• Vegemite and Cheese (created by Chloe Wright)
• Chicken, Cheese and Gravy (created by Cody Grealy)

Who will take home the title this year?  All will be revealed this Australia Day.
