Our brand new, state-of-the-art indoor sports stadium is now officially open, so it's time to get physical Wagga!
The multi-purpose stadium will not only allow for bigger and better sporting events, but will also attract and host a number of conferences and functions, providing a huge economic boost.
Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Development and Federal Member for Riverina Michael McCormack said that the stadium meets a growing demand among local sporting groups for more venues, adding:
"This new three court indoor stadium shows how the Liberal and Nationals Government investment in sporting infrastructure not only fulfils important community needs but also secures the economic future of our regions.” - Cr McCormack
