The Gold Coast Rollers QBL aspirations received a major boost with Brisbane Bullets forward Torrey Craig signing on for 2017.

The 26-year-old has starred for the Bullets since arriving from South Carolina.

He leads the National Basketball League for rebounds this season, averaging 8.3 per game, and is averaging more than 14 points a game with a career high 34  against the Adelaide 36ers in November.

Gold Coast Basketball president Jimmy Williams describing the signing as one of the most exciting ever for a regional basketball team.

"Torrey is charismatic on and off the court, and his current form is going to make the Gold Coast Rollers a real contender for 2017," he said in a statement.

Craig will begin training with the Rollers in April, once the NBL season comes to an end.
