Mermaid Beach Grandmother Claims Mystery Lotto Win

UPDATE: A Mermaid Beach grandmother has claimed the mystery $500,000 from Saturday's Gold Lotto draw.

The woman held one of the eight division one winning entries across the country, and luckily checked her ticket on Tuesday after failing to fill her contact details in correctly with Winners Circle.

She had told Golden Casket the windfall has come at a perfect time, as she has been struggling through some rough times lately.

Someone who purchased their entry for Saturday's draw from the IGA on the corner of Karbunya Street and Sunshine Boulevard has shared in the division one prize!

They will take home $500,000.

The ticket is registered but Golden Casket officials haven't been able to get in touch with the winner, because the contact details are incomplete.

The six winning numbers for draw 3857 on 7 July 2018 were 29, 1, 6, 43, 23 and 18.

The supplementary numbers were 3 and 35.

Across Australia there were eight division one winning entries: five from Victoria and one each from New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia.
