Multi-Car Collision Causes Havoc For Smith St Commuters

A multi-car pile up on one of Southport's busiest roads has caused some major headaches for drivers this morning.

Emergency services were called to the scene at the corner of Smith Street and Parklands Drive at around 8:42am on Thursday, where a number of vehicles had collided in the eastbound lanes.

Paramedics treated two people on scene for minor injuries.

They were set to be transported to hospital in stable conditions.
