Police have hit half a dozen people with charges, following a drink and drug driving blitz in Bellingen Shire over the weekend.

Coffs-Clarence police say they found a 23-year-old Bellingen man with ecstasy and fireworks during a vehicle stop.

A 24-year-old mate also in the car was pulled up for an outstanding warrant.

A 38-year-old Bellingen man has reportedly returned a positive drug test.

While two Dorrigo men aged 49 and 42 are facing PCA offences.
