More charges laid over Southport torture

More charges have been laid after a man was held captive and allegedly tortured inside a Southport mechanic's workshop.

Two Mermaid Waters men, aged 24 and 30, have been charged with charged with torture, assault occasioning bodily harm, deprivation of liberty and armed robbery.

Both men will face court on Wednesday.

A 24-year-old Parkwood man was charged in relation to the incident last week.

The 26-year-old victim from Loganholme escaped his captors last Thursday, then ran to a unit in nearby George Street to get help.

His injuries were non-life threatening.
