'Monster' The Snake Hits The Scales

Now that's a big snake!
The Australian Reptile Park have measured their reticulated python, Monster, for the first time.
She's a whopping 5.28m long and weighs 55kg.
“Monster can be a difficult girl”, said General Manager Tim Faulkner.
“The reticulated python is known as an aggressive species, so our Keepers need to take extreme care. Weighing Monster is essential as it’s the first indicator of her overall health.”
Monster could live up to a decade, and grow as long as 10m.
