FOUND: Elderly Southport Man Located After Public Plea
74-Year-Old Safe And Sound
UPDATE: An elderly man who went missing on the Gold Coast has been found safe and well.
Police said the 74-year-old was located on Thursday, and thanked the public for its assistance.
EARLIER: Police are calling on the public to help them find an elderly Southport man who has gone missing.
James Nelson, 74, was last seen at a shopping centre in Biggera Waters at around 12pm on Wednesday.
He had not made contact with family or friends since, and concerns are held for his welfare as he suffers from a medical condition.
Mr Nelson is described as Caucasian in appearance, around 170cm and has a proportionate build, grey hair and blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing black cargo shorts and a light-coloured polo shirt.
