Last year, 10-year-old Jack was learning about the drought in school when he decided he needed to do more, and with a lot of hard work and determination "A Fiver For A Farmer Day" was born.

Over 1100 schools, 500 kindergartens and 600 workplaces took part in the initiative raising a whopping $1.6m. This year Jack and his team want to make it an even bigger success.

The $1.6million raised so far has gone directly to Australian Farmers through all funds going to Rural Aid and Drought Angels.
These funds contributed to purchasing visa gift cards, hay bale runs, water tanks and more.
A Fiver For A Farmer Day will be held August 2, 2019.
