Medowie Toddler Dies In Drowning Tragedy
The 14-month-old couldn't be revived.
Tragedy has struck in Medowie with a toddler drowning in a backyard swimming pool.
The 14-month-old girl was found unconscious in the water just after 4pm yesterday.
Family members and police tried CPR before the child was rushed to the John Hunter Hospital by ambulance.
Despite the best efforts of paramedics the young girl couldn't be revived.
A report will now be prepared for the coroner.
