Last night, we all said goodbye to our faves on Married At First Sight… but it seems that some of the contestants have a bit more to say.

Yesterday, Susan Rawlings made headlines after she claimed that her ex 'husband', Sean Hollands, was totally different off camera.

Speaking to News.com.au, the 37-year-old said, “I wanted to leave half way through... His kids were crying to him on Skype: ‘Please come home daddy, we don’t really know why you’re away for so long’. And I said, ‘No, you need to go, we’re just friends, you need to go’."

"And he’s like, ‘Nah, I need the money, I’m going to New Zealand in April on my first overseas trip ever. I need some spending money’."

The couples were paid $200AUD/day to be in the series.

She continued to say that she doesn't hold any resentment towards the farmer, however, pointed out that his on-air personality was quite different to off air.

"... He did stand up for what was right... on camera... he is a completely different person off camera.”

OUCH!

Well, now Sean has hit back and it’s getting nasty.

The father-of-two spoke to TheFix and totally disagreed with everything his former 'wife' had to say.

He said, "I feel that I'm just the same… Susan and I haven't seen each other in person since the experiment, since the reunion. We've spoken on the phone, but we haven't seen each other in person. Honestly, I don't know what I've done wrong."

He also spoke about Susan’s comments on him not having time to see her after the show wrapped.

"We were still talking up until probably halfway through the episodes aired, then she became hard to talk to.”

Adding, "I went straight back to work as soon as we renewed the vows. I told her that after a couple of stints I'd probably be able to catch up in person, but I just had all this work. I couldn't just sit around and not do all of this stuff. That's what you have to do on the farm. I think it's hard for Susan to understand.

"I did want to catch up with Susan, but we both had our own things we needed to do after being away from home for three months."

As for the comments made about his children, Sean says that’s off limit.

He added, "For legal reasons, I don't want to talk about my kids. All I will say is, when you're a parent with kids, you're away from them for one day, they miss you. No matter how long you're going to be away, they miss you. It wasn't like what she was saying."

Sean also revealed that he has tried plenty of times to get in touch with Susan, but hasn’t had any luck.

"I've tried contacting her and reaching out, but she's not answering the phone, not answering text messages, and doesn't want to talk. I don't know what's going on."

We hope these two sort things out, they are literally perfect for each other.
