Man Throws Roof Tiles At Police During Boolaroo Siege

A man's under police guard in the John Hunter after a siege at Boolaroo last night.

Officers were called to a house in Main Road just before midnight, following reports a man wanted on outstanding warrants was there.

They found the 30 year old on the roof.

It's claimed he then made threats towards police and started throwing tiles at them on the street.

He eventually climbed down two and a half hours later.

He's expected to be charged once he's released from hospital.
