Man pulled from surf unconscious at Urunga

A 45-year-old man has been taken to Coffs Harbour Base Hospital with head injuries after a surfing accident at Urunga.
He was found at unconscious and not breathing around 10:30am.

Emergency services remain on the scene of a surfing accident at Urunga this morning.
A man in his 40s was pulled out of the water around 10:30am, unconscious and not breathing.
It's believed he has since regained consciousness and is reporting chest and shoulder pain.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter among crews.
