A man reported missing after attending the Rabbits Eat Lettuce Festival in Elbow Valley over the Easter period has been spotted, he has also made contact with his mother by text saying that his phone was going flat and he'd be out of contact for a while.

Police reported that 37-year-old Nanango man, Bradley Smith (pictured) went missing after leaving his campsite at the festival.

An RACQ Lifeflight Rescue Helicopter was tasked to the Elbow Valley region to help police locate him after he was reported missing.

While earlier reports indicated that he had not been seen since the festival, a festival goer posted to the Rabbits Eat Lettuce Facebook page that she had seen him on Monday morning around 7am walking by the lake and then again at 8am sitting by himself by the lake on a tree stump.

The festival also made headlines this week after two festival-goers were found deceased in their tent at the site on Monday morning.

Police expect a toxicology report will determine the cause of death in the coming weeks, however at this stage the deaths are being treated as suspected drug overdoses.

Meanwhile the backlash continues with 52 drug charges handed out among 25 different people along with a couple of assault and fraud offences.
