The Toowoomba-based RACQ LifeFlight Rescue helicopter airlifted a man to hospital, after he was injured in a rollover in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The chopper was called to the crash, near Millmerran, just before 3 o'clock after a ute had rolled off the road.

Emergency services on the scene closed the highway, so the rescue helicopter could land close to the patient.

LifeFlight's Critical Care Doctor and flight paramedic treated the man, aged in his thirties, for multiple injuries.

He was flown to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.

Another person, who was also injured in the crash, was treated by Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) paramedics.
