Man charged with wilful exposure
Police say man was naked near families.
Police have charged a man with wilful exposure after an incident in Bellingen, over the weekend.
At 3pm on Saturday, officers from the Coffs/Clarence Local Area Command were called to a reserve on Hammond Street, having been told a man was naked and committing an indecent act in view of families gathered there.
They arrested a 72 year old man at the scene.
The man was later charged with wilful and obscene exposure, and behave in offensive manner in or near a public place, at Coffs Harbour Police Station.
He was given conditional bail and is due to appear at Coffs Harbour Local Court on Monday, January 30.
