Man charged after screwdriver threat, abuse

A school in the Morisset area was forced into lockdown yesterday afternoon, after a man allegedly intimidated another man and a woman, threatening them while armed with a screwdriver.

The 30 year old is accused of approaching the pair, who were sitting in a car.

Officers were called to Terrigal street around 2.30, with the nearby school placed into lockdown as a precaution.

He's been charged with two counts of intimidation as well as malicious damage and granted condition bail to front Toronto court on July 18th.
