Mackay Beer & BBQ Festival Is The Place To Be This Weekend!

Love beer & BBQ's? Then make sure you head to the Mackay Beer & BBQ Festival this Saturday, August 25! 

This is Mackay's FIRST EVER beer & BBQ festival, featuring 12 breweries and over 40 different beer and ciders, it's set to be a day you don't want to miss!

They'll also have Mackay's Best Sausage competition, food vendors, live music all day, a mechanical bull from 2pm-5pm, the final of 'The Search' Battle of the Bands and a chilli eating comp - with prizes to be won! 

Breweries include: Burleigh Brewing, Asahi, Bargara Brewing, Goanna Brewing, Cricketers Arms, Great Northern, Goose Island, James Squire, Little Creatures, Mountain Goat, Pirate Life, White Rabbit. Iron Jack, Furphy.

Food Vendors include: Smokalicious, Noli’s BBQ, Huns Delight, Farmer Joes, Otto’s Maltese and Bratwurst Sausages, El Papas, Issy’s Cafe, King of Beef Jerky and Harrup Park Ribs.

Best Sausage Competitors: Freckle Farm, Slade Point Meat Specialists, Goodes Butchery, Walkerston Country Meats, George Street Butcher, Mega Meats Butcher.
